PRC India, trading as P R Creation Pvt Ltd and part of the GOMTI Group, manufactures woven fabric at its mill in Surat, Gujarat. The full range runs to 45 fabrics across six categories: 100% linen, viscose and rayon, recycled polyester, viscose blends, organic cotton and custom digital printing. Weights run from a 35 GSM chiffon to a 240 GSM moss crepe, widths from 42 to 58 inches, and every fabric is available with no minimum order quantity.
Three specifications do most of the work, and getting them right at the enquiry stage saves a sampling cycle later. Fibre determines how the cloth behaves in wear: linen and cotton breathe best in heat, viscose and its variants drape most fluidly, recycled polyester is the most durable and colourfast, and blends sit between the two according to their ratio. GSM determines weight and therefore structure: below 80 GSM a fabric reads sheer and fluid, 80 to 150 GSM gives drape with opacity, and above 150 GSM the cloth begins to hold its own shape. Width determines cutting efficiency, and our range spans 42 to 58 inches, which materially changes how many garment panels you get per metre. Compare cost per finished garment rather than per metre when evaluating quotes, because a narrower fabric at a lower rate frequently works out dearer once wastage is counted. If you are unsure, send us the garment you are developing and the season it is for, and we will shortlist two or three fabrics from the range and send physical swatches rather than ask you to choose from a screen.
Our linen range covers four lea counts. Lea measures yarn fineness and works inversely to weight, so 80 lea is the finest and lightest at 120 GSM while 25 lea is the thickest and heaviest at 230 GSM. All four are woven at 58 inches from premium European flax, which produces longer and more consistent fibres than most alternatives. Prices currently run from ₹634 per metre for 40 lea to ₹774 for 25 lea. Linen is specified for premium shirting, dresses, resort wear and, at the heavier counts, tailored trousers and jackets.
With fourteen products, viscose and rayon is the broadest part of the range. It includes cupro, the silk like fibre regenerated from cotton linter, modal satin at 70 to 80 GSM for exceptional softness, viscose satin with its glossy face and matte reverse, and moroccan crepe with a matte pebbled surface. Viscose is also the best printing base we offer, because the cellulose structure absorbs ink into the fibre rather than leaving it on the surface, producing deeper colour and cleaner fine detail than most synthetics achieve.
Every polyester fabric we weave is made from 100% recycled yarn reclaimed from post consumer PET, and our mill operates under GRS certification, which provides a verified chain of custody from reclaimed input to finished cloth. The range spans the widest weight band in our catalogue, from a 35 GSM chiffon through georgette, satin and jacquard to a 240 GSM moss crepe. Recycled polyester is also the one base that accepts both digital ink printing and sublimation, which gives a designer a genuine choice between fine surface detail and permanent in fibre colour.
Our blends pair viscose with a second fibre chosen for a specific property. The 80% viscose 20% polyamide construction is the most specified fabric in this part of the range, adding strength, elasticity and abrasion resistance to a soft viscose base. Viscose polyester adds wrinkle resistance, and viscose cotton herringbone adds breathability with visible surface texture. Separately, our organic cotton range covers voile at 65 GSM, cambric at 75 to 80 GSM for linings and pocketing, and poplin at 130 to 140 GSM for crisp formal shirting.
Most Indian mills set a high per colour dyeing minimum, which makes sampling expensive and small production runs impractical. We do not. You can order from a single sample length through to full bulk production, and we hold more than 80 shades in permanent ready stock across the range, with 41 or more colours held in each linen count and 22 in cambric. A repeat order in a stock shade is matched against the same physical standard rather than re dyed to a fresh lab dip, which removes the batch to batch variation that forces a garment maker to re cut. Custom shades are dyed to your swatch or Pantone reference, with a lab dip issued for written approval before bulk.
All 45 fabrics accept custom digital ink printing, and recycled polyester additionally accepts sublimation. Because there are no screens to engrave, there is no fixed setup cost to amortise, which means a fifty metre seasonal capsule costs proportionally the same per metre as a five thousand metre bulk run. Supply artwork as a seamless repeat file with your chosen base and colourway, and we return a printed strike off on the actual fabric for physical approval before any bulk production begins. Repeat orders print from the stored file so colour stays consistent across seasons.
Surat is India's largest centre for woven and man made fabric production. Sourcing directly from the mill removes the trading layer between you and the loom, which means specifications are confirmed against actual production rather than relayed, shade matching stays consistent across repeat orders, and lead times are quoted by the people running the machines. We supply garment exporters serving European and North American brands, domestic apparel manufacturers and institutional buyers requiring uniform fabric at volume. For export orders we can advise on Incoterms, documentation, port of loading and realistic lead times at the quotation stage.
To discuss a requirement, request a quote with the fabric, weight, shade and quantity you need, or message us on WhatsApp for a same day response.
